Who is Shrimp-Man? 誰是炸蝦人？ 

One day, a bento shop using bad oil deep-fried this Shrimp-Man into existence.

He is a ten-centimeter-tall little man with a fried shrimp on his head, wrapped in a bath towel. With his crispy hair, he runs fast and is incredibly bouncy, but if he is caught by the chef and re-fried, it will cost him his life.

Initially caring only about his own survival and keeping his shrimp head crispy, he learns to help others through his encounters with other tiny food people. As he gains companions, he gradually uncovers the massive evil organization behind these shady restaurants.

有一天，使用地溝油的蝦捲便當店炸出了這隻炸蝦人。

他是一隻十公分高、頭上有炸蝦、包著浴巾的小人。頭髮酥脆的他跑得快又Q彈，但只要被店家抓到回炸，就會致命。

本來只求生存、維持蝦頭酥脆的他，在和其他食物小人相遇過程中學會互相幫助，獲得同伴的同時，也逐漸揭開黑心店家們背後巨大的邪惡組織⋯⋯

目前已獲得台灣國藝會補助，製作 7分鐘的2D 動畫短片（點此看介紹）。

  • In development: Using a short film as a proof of concept for the Shrimp-Man character, the project will be developed into an animated series with 7-minute episodes through international co-production.

以短片作為炸蝦人角色IP的概念驗證，透過國際合製，發展成一集七分鐘的動畫影集。

What’s the story?故事背景

In a night market overrun by shady vendors, various mutated foods, called “Footants”, have emerged.

Among them is Shrimp-Man, born from bad oil. Indifferent to the world around him, he spends his days only focused on scavenging deep-fried crumbs to maintain his “crispy hairstyle.” That is, until he unexpectedly saves a Tempura Dog from a fatal “double-fried.” This encounter gradually opens his heart, sparking a journey of them to team up to rescue the Footants.

As they complete their rescue missions, Shrimp-Man gathers even more companions. However, he soon realizes that to solve the problem at its root, they must take down the evil food enterprises pulling the strings behind the night market.

在充斥黑心店家的夜市中，出現各種突變食物。其中誕生於地溝油的炸蝦人，每天不問世事，只專注在撿拾炸物碎屑來維持自己的「酥脆髮型」。直到他意外從致命的「二次回炸」中救出一隻甜不辣狗狗後，逐漸打開心房，從此展開一起解救突變食物的旅程。

隨著解除任務，炸蝦人也獲得了更多同伴，但他發現要打敗夜市背後龐大的邪惡食品企業集團，才能根本解決所有的問題。
